Sinkers App Reviews

It is an amazing game. Before you start reading this I will make one thing clear: some of these 9 year old reviewers that say you have to pay in order to get more sinkers dont realize how easy they are to get. You only need a combo that is higher than 10. I wont explain to you how I do it so that every time I use a sinker I get 1-3 in return but I will say that by playing about 45 minutes I started with the default amount of sinkers (10) I ran out of them and realized how to get them back so after the 45 minutes I already had 55 sinkers. Now, why am I giving this 4 stars? The game is too quick, I just wish that they had different modes such as 50 moves or 100 moves. Appart from that the game is very well thought out and Im in love with it.

I love this game. The idea that this is some kind of money pit is insane. I dont play many online games at all, or claim to be good at any one of the ones Ive tried, but this one is easy enough to play without spending a cent. If I can figure it out anyone can, trust me, I dont even own a computer, never have. All I do is start with a combo of 2, then 3 or 4 and so on. The colors on top disappear giving you bigger combos which award you sinkers. Eventually you have to make a lesser combo and all the colors come back probably within 10 moves so u start at a combo of 2 then 3 or 4 again. By the time you finish all 20 moves you should have acquired at least 5 sinkers as long as you dont use them a lot. Use them when u only have 2-3 colors left at top of screen. Ive played about 50 times so far, my high score is only 218 but I have 40 sinkers and I didnt pay for any.

I cant play this game anymore because I ran out of sinkers, not re-downloading either

Good concept? Yeah. But just one HORRIBLE aspect of the game is what ruined it entirely: having to buy more sinkers. Its literally impossible to play now for people unwilling to pay. It completely ruins gameplay. Is this seriously the only thing you could come up with? Nice going. Im deleting this crap.

I made it through less than 1 game before theyre asking me for money. Avoid this game.

Beautiful graphics. Nice idea. Progress depends, however, on purchase of sinkers. Without sinking cash in, you wont get far. Do not bother.

They charge you for a core game mechanic means this game is pay to play. People will argue that you can earn them in game, but the fact that they are an in app purchase should give you pause. So, dont ever run out of sinkers, or else youll be stuck because earning them back while at 0 is difficult.

Bland visuals, overly simple mechanics, and a flaccid iap model. Im very surprised this got a bump on the App Store.

Game is as entertaining as watching bread in a toaster.

This game is fun and challenging until you run out of the " sinkers" the game requires. I found that deleting and redownloading the game is the best way around that since I refuse to spend any money on a silly game.

Bonus sinkers! How and why? This game doesnt do it for me.

This is a very simple game but it has one very very serious flaw. Execution of IAP. Im not to particularly opposed to the notion of setting timers so after X turns you have to wait an hour or you can pay 99 cents if you are that impatient. But there is no logic to how this game does it. The game instructions arent clear about this whole sinkers mechanic so you end up with games stopped in the middle etc. Needs to be much clearer

Interesting, unique game. Really nice, clean visuals. Thought provoking. Takes a a little while of playing before you get the hang of it. More to successful strategy than it first seems!

Great, addictive, and fun puzzle game. Very easy to play without paying anything.

Sinkers intrigued me just because of its unique name. It caught my eye, so i decided to take a look at it, and decided to download it. Sinkers has a simple interface which is really nice, ad the gameplay is very smooth too. I like that the game is a mind/puzzle game that is not too difficult, but also not so easy that it is boring. I play a few games before I go to sleep every night, and have not yet been able to beat my highscore of 214! Haha. For new players, the most useful tip i can give you is to save your sinkers until you need to use them (do not waste them). And my best strategy is to try to increase your combo number by one each time (get two, then three, then four and so on). By using these tips, you probably wont have to purchase sinkers (i have almost 50 saved up now, because eventually you are rewarded sinkers for high combos). A big thanks to the developers for making such a great game :)

I really want to like this game but it seems I can only play for a little while before the game is over. Needs a zen mode for people who might accidentally enjoy playing!

You guys have made me mad that you took away all the sinkers that I earned, I understand what you guys are doing with the unlimited sinkers but you took away the ones I earned fairly and I am massively upset that you guys added two new features but we have to buy them, really, you cant be serious, you have ads in game and now you are making us buy two new features, come on thats ridiculous

A good idea but to continue playing you have to pay for the most important element and not just once but over and over if it had a pay once feature I would consider it. As it is its just a good idea and a money GRAB..... Deleted! The new modes with unlimited sinkers makes this game really enjoyable, the zen mode is easily worth 2 bucks and even though I think the timed mode is over priced (should be 1) I may get it as a reward for a clever game that stopped the total grab it was. Good job Devs!!
